Okay, You can't break your hymen by using a tampon, it strenchs the hymen instead.

.

It does not mean that it is broken for sure, but there is the possibility. Many girls break the hymen by masterbation, or some other type of insertion of fingers, tampons, didlos, etc. Many girls also break their hymen with tampons and acutally get some of the memebrane tangled around the tampon, and wonder if that is indeed what it is that's wrapped around it. It is. So, you can use tampons and still have an intact hymen, or you can use them and it is still not broken. It depends on the woman and how her hymen was formed way back when...and what type she has/had, etc. There are wonderful sites that I frequent tho that answer your question...I can hyperlink some if you need them, or email me or whatever. I'm just going off my personal knowledge and what I've been taught as I prepare for med school and study biology. But I think there are actual doctors on these sites that have answered the questions.
PS Here's One that's answered
